Malaga will host the ninth edition of the 4K HDR Summit in November

Two in-person sessions (November 13 and 14) and two virtual sessions (November 15 and 16) make up the ninth edition of the 4K HDR Summit, which will once again have the National Digital Content Pole from Malaga.

He Monday, November 13 will take place inaugural day of the 4K HDR Summit and will serve as a face-to-face meeting to also welcome new members and collaborators of the association UHD Spain, which was created in January 2021 and already has 39 members to promote the development of Ultra High Definition (UHD) in Spain. In addition, multinationals, experts and professionals will meet to show the latest advances in this technology.

on tuesday November 14, also in person, will have featured presentations about the most important events of the year on the international audiovisual scene. These two in-person days will give attendees the opportunity to learn about demonstrations from manufacturers and developers with solutions that coexist with Ultra High Definition, such as VR, XR or 5G. Finally, the two virtual days, November 15 and 16, will feature a multitude of experts who will talk about these technologies and the most advanced projects regarding Ultra High Definition. This ninth edition will also serve as the headquarters of the Assembly of the Spanish association UHD Spain and from the following FORTA Technical Commission.

In the last edition a total of 61 speakers, more than 450 registered professionals and around 200 companies and institutions from Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, United States, France, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Poland, Portugal, India and Switzerland. At the 4K HDR Summit 2022, milestones were anticipated such as RTVE's 4K broadcast of the Qatar World Cup, the presentation of the Andalusia Audiovisual HUB, the cameras used by NASA in the Artemis 1 mission, or the UHD experimental broadcasts throughout Spain.
