I+P, ideas to produce reveals the 18 projects of its 17th edition
He Galician Audiovisual Cluster organizes the 17th edition of I+P, Ideas to Produce, appointment of pitchings and meetings one to one which will take place from November 30 to December 1 in A Coruña.
The projects that will participate in the 17th edition of the I+P, Ideas to Produce are the feature films fictional Animals (Zeta Cinema), Villamiseria (Agallas Films), María Casares, the foreign diva (Zenit Television), The three other lives of María Santiso (Melgo Cinema), Ibiza 67 (Héctor Escandell), The submerged forest (Southern Productions), Maybe (Ngaro Games The House of Enigmas) and Roundabout (Carlos Polo PC); the documentary feature film Notes between silences (OlloVivo), and the animated feature film Greta (Animation Algarabía). Regarding television formats, the series fictional The Twelve (Volcano Films), Malpaís (Lidia Fraga), Anomaly (Ana Urquijo) and Puma_Blue (Noelia M. Muíño); the non-fiction series Operation Hotel: The man who sold his soul to the CIA (Marks Nine); the animated miniseries The voices of the canvas (Productions A Fonsagrada – Filmax), and the fictional miniseries They live next door (Samuel Lema), as well as the program Breast-Stretches (Vigo Productions – EISV).
Of the eighteen projects this year, six correspond to the works that participate in the second edition of the I+P incubator, INCUBA, which is financed by the ICAA (Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts of the Ministry of Culture) within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and the Next Generation EU European funds. These works are Animals, Villamiseria, Notes between silences, Greta, The Twelve y Puma_Blue. The rest of the projects were chosen from more than one hundreds of registered works, after being analyzed by the Selection Committee that this year was made up of Nina Hernández, content director of Portocabo; Alberto Domínguez, executive producer, and Héber Fernández, screenwriter, producer and member of the Project Development department at Vaca Films.
Los pitchings and the meetings one to one between the television stations, platforms and distributors and those responsible for the participating projects will take place on Friday December 1. The works will be presented in front of an audience made up of “decission makers” of RTVE, Mediaset España, Atresmedia, Movistar Plus+, Amazon Prime Video, Filmin, Warner Bros. ITVP España, CRTVG, TV3, EiTB, RTVA, Aragón TV, Filmax, A Contracorriente Films, DeAPlaneta o Portocabo.
The 2023 edition of the I+P is subsidized by the Deputación da Coruña, sponsored by the Axencia Galega das Industrias Culturalis of the Xunta de Galicia, and has the support of the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape) and with the collaboration of the City Council of A Coruña.
