Rosa Martínez Rivada, former director of Radio Galega, dies
Rosa Martínez Rivada (Vigo, 1947), journalist with a long professional career and director of Radio Galega between 2009 and 2017, died this Saturday in Santiago de Compostela.
In addition to developing various responsibilities at the Radio-Television Corporation of Galicia, she was an editor at the Galician News Agency and at the Radio Noroeste de Vigo station.
The Radio Gallega delegation was installed in that city. In 1995 she assumed the position of editor-in-chief of the news program and held different positions that led her to the direction of the public station from 2009 to 2017, the same year in which she retired.
