NIPA KoVAC Studio updates its facilities with Brompton Technologies
Following the success of its studio with LED walls and ceiling installed last year, the Korean Information Technology Industry Promotion Agency (BY) has once again resorted to the experience of ARK Ventures to elevate the NIPA KoVAC XR Stage to a next-generation hybrid installation powered by LED processing from Brompton Technology.
The update enables simultaneous and seamless execution of XR and ICVFX, setting a new benchmark among government-affiliated studios.
Located in the South Korean VR AR Complex (KoVAC) in Mapo-gu, Seoul, the studio now features a huge wall LED ROE Visual BP2V2 of 16 x 6 meters, a ROE Visual BM4V2 LED floor of 16.6 x 6.7 meters, two sets of LED ceilings of 3.6 x 3.6 m and a side effects wall of 2.4 x 3.6 meters, the latter two consisting of ROE Visual CB5L MKII panels. The installation is powered by four Tessera SX40 4K LED processors and nine Tessera 10G data distribution units. Furthermore, the system incorporates disguise vx 4+ media server y nDisplay of Unreal Engine.
The NIPA team maximizes the studio's capabilities by leveraging long-established Tessera software features such as Frame Remapping, ShutterSync y Studio Mode, along with the most recent Extended Bit Depth, Stacking y PureTone in their innovative projects.
