ARK Ventures again chooses ROE Visual to expand NIPA Studio capabilities

The South Korean National Information Technology Industry Promotion Agency (BY) expands his study for the third time. In collaboration with Ark Ventures, which has trusted in LED screens from ROE Visual, NIPA Studio has evolved from a basic XR studio to a hybrid virtual production studio.

In 2021, NIPA began building a virtual production studio to help boost South Korea's tech industry and strengthen its edge in digital innovation. In December 2024, NIPA and ARK Ventures, a Korean company experienced in virtual production solutions, began their fourth collaboration and successfully expanded the NIPA Hybrid Studio in the Mapo district of Seoul.

NIPA re-selected Black Pearl2 V2 (BP2V2) of ROE Visual and the recently acquired Carbon5L MKII (CB5LMKII) to improve the configuration of the LED display. The BP2V2 panels incorporated in this extension integrate perfectly with the existing ones, demonstrating a high degree of coherence. After three years and three expansion phases, the NIPA Hybrid Studio now has a BP2V2 main screen measuring 24 meters wide and 6 meters high, 224 panels Black Marble4 (BM4) and 49 CB5LMKII panels. This significant expansion represents a strong boost to the advancement of XR virtual display technology.

The NIPA Hybrid Studio is also equipped with processors Brompton, virtual rendering systems Disguise and cinema-quality lighting ARRI.
