Antena 3 Noticias improves its accessibility with the NaviLens QR
The news of Antenna 3 News, 'Your time' and 'Public mirror' already have accessible QR codes from NaviLens, which allow access to information in a “faster and more efficient” way.
The information spaces of Antenna 3, led by Santiago Gonzalez, reinforce their commitment to innovation, this time focused on accessibility.
In addition, these codes can be read on the move, at a distance of up to five meters, with an angle of 160 degrees and without the need to focus or frame them. Precisely, this is very useful for people with visual disabilities, but also for other users such as older people or people with a weak pulse. These codes, developed since 2017 by NaviLens in collaboration with the University of Alicante, are already implemented in urban transport in the main cities of Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, San Sebastián, Zaragoza, Alicante or the Region of Murcia), as well as Metro stations in various cities in the US, Europe, Asia or Oceania.
To Javier Pita, CEO and founder of NaviLens, this change represents "an important advance and a guarantee so that everyone can access information in a simple and effective way. With the incorporation of these codes Antena 3 takes a step to make a more inclusive society, making information more accessible to all groups."
