'Your Majesty' is being filmed, a Prime Video series that imagines a sudden succession in the Spanish monarchy
100 Reply (The Mediapro Studio) y Sayaka Productions and form a Your Majesty, a comedy Prime Video directed by Borja Cobeaga and Ginesta Guindal about the Spanish monarchy, whose filming has already begun in Madrid.
your majesty plans a scenario set in the year 2024 in which Pilar (Anna Castillo) es una joven princesa y futura reina de España quien, de forma repentina y precipitada, se ve obligada a quedarse al frente de la institución tras un escándalo que salpica a su padre el rey Alfonso XIV, que lo aleja de la primera línea pública durante unos meses. Esto dará la oportunidad a Castillo a demostrarle al país que no es la “irresponsable, insolente vaga e inútil que todos creen”, si bien, reza la synopsis, “lo que pasa es que igual tienen razón”. Junto a Castillo, tendrá un rol protagónico Ernesto Alterio (Perfect strangers, A normal world, Narcos) como Secretario Real.
Tras haber escrito juntos películas como 8 Basque surnames, Faith of ETA o Súperlopez, y haber creado por separado las series Vote Juan y I don't like driving, this is the first time that Borja Cobeaga y Diego San Jose They jointly create a television project. The series, of 7 episodes of 30 minutes long, if it is filming in Madrid por diferentes y reconocibles localizaciones de la capital. Al frente de la producción ejecutiva figuran Laura Fernández Espeso, Alejandro Florez, Javier Méndez y Diego San José de The Mediapro Studio, y Nahikari Ipiña y Borja Cobeaga de Sayaka Producciones. Junto a Diego San José y Borja Cobeaga, el escritor y guionista José Antonio Pérez Ledo (Orbit Time, Estación Apolo, Walkers) forman el equipo de guion. Por su parte, la cineasta Ginesta Guindal (Elite, Life Perfecta, He Vecino) firma la dirección junto a Cobeaga.
