Bitcentral embarks on a new stage with Sam Kamel and Fred Fourcher at the helm
The software provider for the media industry Bitcentral has appointed Sam Kamel as CEO and Fred Fourcher as president.
Under the leadership of Fourcher, who returns to the company he founded, Bitcentral will continue to redefine audience engagement, offering scalable solutions from traditional newsrooms to dynamic online talk shows.
The company has provided software solutions to more than 300 television networks and a thousand media outlets, including Fox, CNN and Hearst. The company's mission is democratize content creation and distribution, enabling storytellers around the world to reach audiences with unprecedented effectiveness and expand the landscape of media consumption and monetization.
Sam Kamel acknowledges that "my joining Bitcentral represents an exciting new chapter. I am committed to leveraging our broadcast and streaming capabilities, driving innovation and excellence, and building the best team in the industry."

Bitcentral has also welcomed a new private investor who has recapitalized the company, replacing the previous venture capital fund that owned a significant stake in the company. This new investor will join Bitcentral's board and maintains an enthusiastic long-term view of the company's growth potential.
