Animayo Gran Canaria will hold the 'Invest in Spain Animation Network' meeting
About thirty studios, production companies and decision makers from countries such as the United States, Poland, Canada, Japan, Denmark, Thailand, Lithuania, Germany and Spain will participate in a professional meeting of Animayo Gran Canaria 2024 where more than 200 B2B (business-to-business) meetings are planned.
Invest in Spain Animation Network, will be an exclusive connection space for professionals where Animayo promotes networking and contacts between foreign companies and decision makers with Spanish production companies or studios, as well as with Government representatives, in order to encourage collaboration and the creation of strategic alliances.
An exhaustive program integrated into the 19th edition of the Festival with which Animayo will offer a favorable environment for invited professionals to explore the film market in Spain and evaluate possible collaborations and business opportunities in an effective and productive way, highlighting the advantages and opportunities offered to foreign companies interested in investing in Spain and offering clarity on tax incentives and relevant legal and financial aspects for their investment.
The event will take place from May 8th to May 10th, both included, in the facilities of the Literary Cabinet of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Some of the international and national production companies and studios that will be presented, highlighting their most recent projects and their position in the market, are: Platige Image, Nørlum Studios, Cinesite, Polygon Pictures, The Monk Studio, Agora Studio, Big Grin Productions, OAk9 Entertainmet, Ronnie Fridthjof Entertainmet, Dr Platypus And Ms Wombat and Hula-hoop. As for international companies that have established operations in Spain, they will debate and share their experiences about the establishment process, the challenges they faced and the opportunities they have taken advantage of in the Spanish market: Skydance Animation, Bwater Studios, Nowake Studios, Atlantis Animation, Fortiche Producciones, BMCaff, Amuse Studios, Tomavision and Orca Studio.
Furthermore, on the first day of these days, Damian Perea, founder, director and producer of Animayo, will present all the activities aimed at professionals, and on the other hand, Elena Moreno, M&E Industry Manager de ICEX-Invest in Spain, hará una breve introducción sobre el papel de la organización en la promoción de la industria cinematográfica española, invitando a los asistentes a considerar España como destino estratégico para futuras inversiones y producciones, haciendo hincapié en los beneficios y el apoyo que se les ofrece para facilitar y promover colaboraciones en la industria cinematográfica.
