ARRI expands the new generation of soft light with the SkyPanel S60 Pro
An IBC 2024, ARRI has showcased the new ARRI SkyPanel S60 Pro. As the latest addition to the SkyPanel family, it combines the recognized benefits of the classic SkyPanel S60-C with innovative upgrades that meet the needs of professionals with exceptional cost-performance and versatility.
The SkyPanel S60 Pro offers new and improved technical features and is packed with digital innovations. The digital twin, an exact replica of the luminaire in Unreal Engine, developed by ARRI Solutions, offers unprecedented customization and control throughout the entire production chain.
This digital twin reduces workload and improves efficiency in pre-production, on set and in post-production by allowing teams to quickly synchronize real and virtual camera and lighting systems for live collaboration. He software CloudIO It also improves serviceability. CloudIO is the industry's first digital IoT device that works seamlessly in the cloud, designed by Claypaky. Ideal for lighting professionals and rental companies, CloudIO offers optimized diagnostics, remote assistance and comprehensive service.

To allow for greater flexibility and creativity on set, the SkyPanel S60 Pro is configured with 4 LED zones for better pixel control, unmatched color accuracy and optimal light distribution. With its RGBW LED light engine, offering superior color gamut and lighting consistency, the soft light can easily adapt to any style while ensuring every scene is illuminated with additional output and true, vibrant color. Improved dimming performance at low levels is also a benefit and allows users to achieve smooth, flicker-free dimming at lower levels for ultimate lighting control.
ARRI responded to customer feedback and made improvements to the luminaire's handles, the position of the control panel and, most importantly, its connectivity and control options. The latest generation device has a integrated power supply which helps streamline assembly, making the luminaire easier to transport and handle with fewer cables and less rigging materials, while maintaining the same size and weight of the classic S60-C.
