Cinemacenter equips the first 100% laser complex in Argentina with Christie
The Argentine exhibition chain Cinemacenter has selected the CineLife+ Series cinema projectors from Christie to equip its new complex Paseo Libertad Rivera Indarte (Córdoba). With integration of CES+, this cinema marks a milestone in the Argentine film industry by becoming the first complex in the country fully equipped with laser projectors.
The complex has five rooms, which add up to a total of 1,100 seats. A pure laser projector has been installed in the largest room Christie CP2415-RGB that provides up to 15,000 lumens, Resolution 2K and incorporate Real|Laser lighting, standing out in image quality, operational useful life and overall cost.
The rest of the rooms have been equipped with projectors CINELIFE+ RBE Models CP2409-RBE, CP2411-RBE and CP2406-RBE equipped with technology Phazer lighting, which brings together advanced electronic features and solutions in an economical platform, with 2K resolution and a Brightness power ranging from 6,000 to 11,000 lumens.
The choice of Christie laser projectors was supported by several factors, as explained by the CEO of Cinemacenter, Esteban Suñé: "100% laser technology was essential to renew our fleet of projectors. Christie's advances in this field convinced us, and the close support of both the brand and CES+ during the acquisition process generated key confidence in making this decision. In addition, the competitive price of this cutting-edge technology turned out to be decisive in choosing Christie as a supplier."
Christie projectors have exceeded the expectations of the Cinemacenter team: "The image quality is excellent, with intense colors and impeccable definition that enhances each projection. In addition, their ease of use has been highly valued by our technical team, who feel comfortable operating them and highlight their practical and efficient design. Without a doubt, the greatest attraction of these projectors is their laser technology, which not only offers outstanding visual performance, but also "It stands out for its energy efficiency and low maintenance requirements."
Optimize operational efficiency
The CEO of Cinemacenter emphasizes the efficiency achieved: "The innovative technology of Christie projectors has not only increased the quality of our projections, but has also contributed to optimizing the operational efficiency of the complex. Without a doubt, this investment has made a significant difference in our cinema offering."
Esteban Suñé also highlights the excellent service from Christie and CES+ stating that "the service received has been impeccable. We felt very supported throughout the process of selecting and acquiring the projectors, which was key to consolidating the relationship of trust that allowed this project to be completed. In addition, we had technical training for our team with a Christie specialist who traveled to Argentina to offer the training, which was very valuable and reaffirms the brand's commitment to Cinemacenter. Constant collaboration and attention to detail made the process agile and seamless, from planning to implementation.”
Cinemacenter plans to continue with its technological renewal process, with the intention of continuing to rely on Christie for future projects: “We are already creating an equipment replacement plan for 2025 and, without a doubt, we will continue to rely on Christie for our new fleet of laser projectors,” concludes the CEO.
