Jamie Logan: All In

The American production 'Jamie Logan: All in' wins the Best Short Film Award Pirineos Mountain Film Festival 2025. The jury of this edition has highlighted the way of approaching “naturally and bravely the story of a very high-level transgender climber, contributing to normalizing the viewer's vision of this type of topics.”

The Award for Best Adventure and Sports Short Film has gone to The Gnar-Whal´s Odyssey of James Klemmensen (Canada) “for being able to share the adventure with the viewer as if they were in the Canadian Arctic and were one of the expedition,” as stated in the official report. For its part, the third award with a financial award, that of Best Culture and Nature Short Film, went to the Italian Where man is no longer sovereign of Paolo Rossi and Nicola Rebora, for the jury is "the testimony of how, from disorder and ruins, nature slowly finds a new order. Filmed without artifice, it invites contemplation."

The award is completed by the Best Animated Short Film (with a trophy awarded by the town of Boltaña) for the Frenchman On the 8th Day of Agathe Sénéchal, Alicia Massez, Elise Debruyne, Flavie Carin and Théo Duhautois; the Best Screenplay (with a trophy awarded by the town of Barbastro) for the German FreerAlde of Michael Bernshausen; and the Best Ibero-American Short Film (with a trophy awarded by the town of Tarbes) for the Colombian Santos of Óscar Gilberto and Vesga Pérez.

He jury formed by Chechu Arribas (Locality of Benasque), Ixeia Lacau (Locality of Barbastro), Jorge García (Locality of Huesca), Roger-Vincent Calatayud (Locality of Tarbes) and Martín Campoy (Locality of Boltaña) has decided to give a special mention to the Spanish short a look back. The art of equipping by Alfonso García. While the Award for the best Short Film shot in the Pyrenees (with a trophy awarded by the town of Benasque) has been void because none of the works met the necessary characteristics to be valued in this section.

For their part, the vote of the viewers has fallen in favor of fingerkaya directed by Ertugrul Kulaksizoglu (Turkey) that wins the Public Award-City of Huesca-PMFF2025 (with a trophy awarded by the Alto Aragonese capital).
