Avid signs a strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS), to deliver a cloud-based production framework that helps film and television production companies address challenges such as rising costs, shrinking budgets, and increasing complexity of workflows.
Avid's new production framework on AWS, launching at NAB 2025, offers studios, broadcasters and streaming services unprecedented access to Avid post-production solutions, including video editing software. Avid Media Composer and storage Avid Nexus and AWS.
Unlike traditional on-site post-production models, which require a heavy upfront investment, Avid's new production framework on AWS offers enterprise class security, compliance and scalability without problems.
