The Chinese firm I, specialized in lighting for the entertainment industry, will be the new owner of Claypacks, brand acquired by ARRI just two years ago.

Although the details of the integration between Claypacks y I are yet to be defined, Claypaky will maintain its headquarters and core competencies in R&D and operations in Italy. The transaction is expected to close in the coming months, subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Marcus Grasser, CEO of Claypacks, has defined its collaboration with ARRI as a "valuable and rewarding journey": "We part with sincere gratitude, especially for the insights gained from ARRI's deep experience in the film industry, which will continue to influence our path into the future.
