Mauro Belenguer, new director of RTVE Valencian Community

After nearly a decade in the Torrespaña news services, journalist Mauro Belenguer Pérez (Alcoi, Alicante, 1989) returns home to direct the territorial center of RTVE in the Valencian Community.

Mauro Belenguer He graduated in Journalism in 2015 from the CEU Cardenal Herrera University (Moncada, Valencia). Later, he completed the master's degree from TVE and the Rey Juan Carlos University.

He has developed most of his professional career in TVE, in the news writing in Torrespaña in the different editions of the News. From the Morning, through the Weekend, until reaching the National section. In recent years it has been part of the politics section, covering related information from the national area, for TD1 and TD2. In addition to several electoral campaigns and important events, such as congresses and party committees, he has dedicated part of his work to Defense information, with special coverage for NATO.

Always linked to the media, Mauro Belenguer also worked for PRISA Radio. At Cadena SER, he was part of the editorial team of The Window by Carles Francino between 2013 and 2015. Mauro Belenguer replaces Arantxa Torres, to which RTVE thanks her excellent directing work over the last seven years, including the coverage of the tragic events of the DANA last October and that have turned RTVE into an information reference in the Valencian Community.
