SMPTE 2110 is consolidated in Sapec solutions during IBC 2025
In this way, the Spanish company presents the long-awaited version in Amsterdam SMPTE ST 2110 of Sivac-One, platform with UHD-HDR capabilities based on ultra-low latency FPGA (less than 170 ms glass-to-glass). This new model adds to the options 3G and 12G in electrical and optical modalities. The modular encoding and decoding solution also debuts at the fair a function of multiplexing, which allows that, if configured in four encoder mode in HD, these can be multiplexed.
The multichannel platform Laguna also presents its function on European soil Gateway, which was previewed at NAB 2025. With this optional license, the tool can manage a maximum of 8 IP to IP conversions for each engine sendable to eight different destinations, with total freedom to choose between the SMPTE 2022 standard or the SRT and RIST protocols. Likewise, Sapec introduces a new license in Amsterdam that enables the automatic input switching. With this development, users can choose their preferred destination for video signals regardless of their source protocol.
Beyond these novelties, Sapec exhibits at IBC 2025 the family of H.264/MPEG-2 encoders with integrated modulator Steps II, both in its version has DTT and DVB-S/S2/S2x, and the flag system with cameras The CornerCam, an R&D development aimed at soccer fields. In addition, the brand has surrounded itself with a notable selection of its ecosystem of partners: Video-MOS (content quality control with MOS parameter), Acromove (5G private networks) and Unified (5G relay units).
