Six new stories start their journey in the fourth edition of Rueda Academia de Cine

Rueda Film Academy, an initiative that helps emerging screenwriters develop their script projects through different sessions and meetings, has already chosen the six main works for its fourth edition, for which a total of 320 applications have been considered.

The chosen projects, revealed at an event held in Elbe (Tabakalera) during el San Sebastian Festival, are those of Gala Hernandez (All night I make the night in me), Carmen Aumedes (truck driver), Adrià Exposit Goy (Forest), Octavio Guerra (Heurtebise), Eire Cid (The imaginary kings) y Dew Table (saw splendor). Throughout seven months, will develop their projects electronically and more intensively in three face-to-face meetings that will take place in three cities in our country.

The program, which is committed to decentralization, supports six screenwriters who, due to their territorial, work or family conciliation circumstances, cannot go to Madrid to work on their scripts, as the participants in the Film Academy Residencies program do. The evaluation committee has been made up of Alfonso Amador, Carla Valdés, Macu Machín, Pedro Collantes, Ignacio Acconcia, Raquel Colera, Júlia de Paz, María Pérez Sanz y Rafael Portela (vice president of the Academy).

The three projects that remain in reserve are, in this order, those of Elisa Victoria Moroccan del Pozo (the gospel), Marina Palacio Burgueño (And so things will continue) y Juan José Ureba Tello (The slaughter).
