Riedel - FISU 2025

Held in several cities in the German region of Rin-Ruhr, the Games FISU 2025 they required a highly reliable and scalable backbone network to support operations in 23 sports venues and the IBC in Essen. Despite the tight planning schedule, only eight weeks, the entire network was implemented smoothly and efficiently. “Given the complexity and magnitude of this project, completing the installation without major issues is a testament to the dedication and experience of our team,” remarks the senior project manager at Riedel Communications.

Intercom systems were installed at all headquarters and the IBC Artist, wireless units Bolero, SmartPanels and multimedia nodes MediorNet. For specific competitions, the system was implemented Bolero S RefComms Riedel in agile autonomous mode to provide reliable communications to referees.

Riedel's role also encompassed comprehensive computer services. A central computer network interconnected all locations, supporting intercoms, Internet access points and specialized applications such as audio description, which were controlled and monitored remotely from the IBC. The German company also supplied 450 laptops, 50 tablets and 130 networked multifunction printers in all operational areas, providing the technological infrastructure for logistical and administrative workflows.
