ARTE makes the leap to IP production with LDX 135 cameras

The European chain ART updates its installations with native LDX 135 IP cameras and Creative Grading from Grass Valley enabling a smooth transition to 1080p IP production with UHD capability.

The project, carried out in collaboration with the integrator Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE) modernized two ART studios: one dedicated to news and the other to general productions. The update offers a Fully native IP environment based on SMPTE ST 2110, which guarantees the interoperability, the scalability and the flexibility operational in all ART production workflows.

With the nine LDX 135 cameras installed, ARTE has gained greater operational efficiency, a seamless IP integration and one greater creative flexibility, allowing you to deliver consistent, high-quality visual storytelling across all your productions.

An intuitive control

At the heart of the new workflow is the solution LDX Creative Grading from Grass Valley with the latest CGP 500 gradation panel. Together, they provide ARTE operators and shaders with intuitive, real-time control over image quality, color balance, and camera synchronization across studios.

BCE, as systems integrator, guided ARTE through the technical and operational transition to IP, ensuring smooth implementation, network integration and end-to-end performance optimization.
