Sony - video authenticity verification

Camera Verify verification platform Sony integrates a new improvement that allows video verification, a service that until now is available in still images.

Beyond verifying that the video content has been captured by a real camera and not generated by AI or other means, Sony's system uses own metadata, including information on 3D depth of the camera, to accurately confirm that the videos show real subjects. Furthermore, the tool integrates a crop function allows you to quickly verify specific video segments while preserving authenticity signatures, which is efficient for large video files.

The tool is complemented by its camera signature solution, designed to certify that image sources comply with the standard C2PA.
