Paramount sells Chilevisión to Vytal Group

Paramount Global, currently under the corporate umbrella of Skydance, has closed an agreement to divest its participation in the companies that operate the open television channel Chilevision.

The acquisition will be carried out by Vytal Group, a conglomerate led by Tomás Yankelevich, who will lead the project along with Jorge Carey and Edgar Spielmann. Regarding this operation, subject to the usual closing conditions and the review of the Chilean regulatory authorities, Kevin MacLellan, president of Paramount International, highlights that "Chilevisión remains one of the channels preferred by the audience. We fully trust that it will continue to grow under the new administration. Our thanks to all the workers in Chile, whose commitment has been key in these years."
