NAB 2026 launches new scope to regain the trust of the industry: registrations open
Registration is now open for the 2026 edition of NAB Show (LVCC, Las Vegas, April 19 – 22), a key edition for the American organization that will bring with it new features such as four days of sports programming, the expansion of the Creator Lab and the inauguration of the long-awaited renovations of the convention center.
NAB returns for another year to highlight trends such as artificial intelligence, media asset protection, streaming, sports innovation, creator economy, and cloud-based workflows. In the words of Karen Chupka, executive vice president of NAB Global Connections and Events: "NAB Show is where the global media community comes together to shape the future. The advances we are seeing in AI, cloud and new content models are redefining how our industry works, and 2026 will reflect that change. From the expanded Creator Lab and Sports Summit to the AI pavilion and the start-up pavilion, we give attendees a front-row look at the technologies and ideas that will drive the future. business.”
New for 2026, the NAB Show will feature a Sports Summit extended four days. Open to all attendees for the first time, the summit will feature tools and technologies that enable greater fan participation and discussions on topics such as sports rights and athletes creating their own media companies. The summit will explore production, rights, distribution, investment and policy, while highlighting how teams, broadcasters and technology partners are redefining fan engagement and reinventing live sports experiences.
On the other hand, the Creator Lab will return with a much larger presence in the newly completed Central Hall to offer creators, studios, broadcasters and brands hands-on learning and “next-generation” storytelling tools. This program will offer sessions on AI, creation techniques, business strategy and audience development, as well as a new networking room designed for one-on-one meetings between creators and brands.
However, one of the biggest attractions will be the umpteenth renewal of the LVCC, which will offer attendees a “more modern, connected and intuitive” experience in 2026. Throughout the venue, attendees will be able to enjoy improved lighting, contemporary finishes and clearer sight lines, “which creates a brighter and more welcoming environment throughout the fair” according to the fair organization.
NAB 2026 launches mobile application
Another novelty of the 2026 edition of NAB will be its new mobile application. Scheduled to launch in March, the app has been designed to help attendees plan ahead, navigate the show and make meaningful connections. The application allows users create and manage a custom program, bookmark exhibitors not to be missed, and receive personalized recommendations on sessions, exhibitors, and contacts based on your individual interests.
The app also introduces tools networking Enhanced features that allow attendees to securely exchange contact information using QR codes while in the venue, as well as connect one-on-one with other attendees.
