'Los Domingos' and 'Sirât' lead the Goya nominations
The Film Academy announced this Tuesday the nominations for the 40th edition of the Goya Awards, awards that will be presented on February 28 in Barcelona. With 13 nominations, 'Los Domingos' is the most nominated film, followed by 'Sirât', with 11 options for an award.
The actress Toni Acosta and the actor and producer Arturo Valls have been in charge of revealing the candidates in the 28 categories from the Film Academy, in an act that was supervised by the notary Eva Fernández Medina. Dinner, directed by Manuel Gómez Pereira; Sundays, directed by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa; Maspalomas, directed by Aitor Arregi and Jose Mari Goenaga; Sirât, directed by Oliver Laxe; and Deaf, directed by Eva Libertad, will be measured by the Goya for Best Film.

The actor Luis Tosar and the singer, composer and actress, Rigoberta Bandini, will present the Goya 2026, which will be awarded next February 28 at the Auditori Forum CCIB in Barcelona, where the filmmaker Gonzalo Suárez will be recognized with the Goya of Honor in 2026.
