Production begins on 'The Blue Box', a psychological thriller about the world of dating apps

The Mediapro Studio US & Canadá, Infinity Hill and IP4 are the promoters of 'The Blue Box', a psychological thriller filmed in Spanish and directed by Martín Hodara ('Iosi, the repentant spy') that is aimed at Latin American and Hispanic audiences in the United States.

The blue box It is set in the phenomenon of dating applications with a story of high psychological tension focused on two main characters brought to life by the Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato (The Marriage App) and the actor Gustavo Bassani. Bassani plays Pablo, a lonely young millionaire, traumatized by a fatal car accident, who meets Lara (Lopilato) through a dating application based on the exchange of a mysterious gift: a “blue box.” As their relationship deepens and Lara manages to bring Pablo out of his self-imposed isolation, an anonymous warning sows doubts about his identity and his true intentions. “What begins as an intimate connection gradually transforms into a tense psychological game of cat and mouse, forcing Pablo to confront both his past and the true nature of the woman he is falling in love with,” reads the film's synopsis.
