'Los Tigres' sweeps the 5th edition of the Carmen Awards with ten awards
The Andalusian Film Academy has held the award ceremony for the 5th edition of the Carmen Awards at the Granada Exhibition and Congress Palace, in an evening in which 'Los Tigres' by Alberto Rodríguez won ten awards, including Best Feature Film and Best Direction, among others.
The Tigers, produced by Kowalski Films, Telefónica Audiovisual Digital y Feelgood Media, adds to these two recognitions the awards to Best Original Screenplay (Alberto Rodríguez and Rafael Cobos), Best Cinematography (Paul Stephen), Best Art Direction (Pepe Dominguez), Best Assembly (José M. García Moyano), Better Sound (Dani de Zayas), Best Makeup and Hairstyling (Yolanda Piña and Félix Terrero), Best Female Supporting Performance (Silvia Acosta) and Best Male Supporting Performance (Joaquín Núñez).
It has also been the evening of blows, feature film produced by Vaca Films y Tranquilo Group that revives the spirit of the quinqui cinema of the eighties. The tape has taken six Carmenes: Best New Female Performance (Teresa Garzón), Best Male Lead Performance (Jesus Carroza), Best New Director (Rafael Cobos), Best Original Music (Bronchus), Best Original Song (The earth hides) and Best Costume (Lourdes Fuentes).
