We see 360

A decade ago, the Valencian production company We see 360 It began its journey with Cristian Bernabé and Kike Gomis, betting on an audiovisual project that always had the highest quality in its work. Starting with equipment that barely fit in a car trunk, ten years later they have three mobile units that provide coverage for both small events and large sports productions.

The producer currently has three mobile units of different configurations (broadcast and streaming), the main one has 39 m² and allows working with up to 16 cameras. The other two small/medium sized mobiles, equipped with eight cameras, have the best equipment to provide a top quality service in a minimum of space, ideal for places with difficult access or little operating space.

Veiem 360 currently offers roofing for large national or regional chains while working in the sports production of leagues of different national and regional federations and are audiovisual providers from several event organizing companies.

Kike Gomis, We see 360Kike Gomis, director of operations at Veiem 360, highlights that "what is today a consolidated production company in the sports audiovisual sector was born with a single ENG camera and a simple idea: work hard and grow step by step. Ten years later, the company has managed to position itself in high-level sports broadcasts, keeping intact the philosophy with which it began: humility, effort and passion for live broadcasts."

The beginnings: a camera and a lot of road

We see 360The origin of Veiem 360 was as simple as it was symbolic. With a single camera and a small technical infrastructure, the team began to carry out modest broadcasts and audiovisual services. “Each job allowed us to reinvest in equipment: a stream financed the purchase of another camera, and so on,” says Gomis.

"The beginnings were not easy. For years, the trips were constant. The team traveled in a private car loaded with the material in the trunk, touring cities like Madrid or Barcelona almost every weekend. The days began at five in the morning and ended around ten at night, accumulating thousands of kilometers with a single objective: to continue growing," recalls Gomis.

Bolero in Veiem 360The next step in the evolution of the production company came with the acquisition of a van that made it possible to transport more material and have the first performance check. “It was not yet a professional mobile unit, but it represented an important qualitative leap,” says Gomis. This advance allowed us to improve the quality of the broadcasts and undertake more ambitious projects. Without abandoning its work philosophy, the team continued to expand its presence in the sector, especially in minority sports.

Despite the growth, the company's structure remains small. The staff is small, but each member knows their role perfectly and is fully involved in each production regardless of its scope: from simple broadcasts to the production of large live shows.

Technology at the service of the live

Cristian Bernabé, We see 360Christian Bernabe, CEO of Veiem 360, emphasizes that "the growth of Veiem 360 has also been accompanied by a firm commitment to technology. Within the possibilities of the market and the company itself, the production company has incorporated high-level equipment to guarantee reliability and quality in its services."

Its infrastructure includes Sony cameras, Grass Valley mixers, the SimplyLive system for replays and the Artist 1024 and Bolero intercom systems. Riedel. In this way “we ensure security and peace of mind for customers, demonstrating that even with compact mobile units it is possible to carry out large-scale productions,” says Bernabé.

We see 360One of the production company's latest projects has been the coverage of the FIH Pro League, the world field hockey league, held in Valencia a few weeks ago. For this event, Veiem 360 deployed a complex production system that included ten cameras, the SimplyLive replays of Riedel and a red Mediornet which made it possible to manage all the signals for production and video refereeing. To ensure robustness in all communications, they had the wireless system of intercom Bolero. “This system guarantees that all referee decisions are made with the utmost precision, while offering the viewer a high-quality broadcast,” says Bernabé.

He also assures that "the reliability of the equipment, together with the technical support offered by Riedel, has allowed the production company to face live broadcasts with greater security and quicker response to any incident."

Ricard RocaAs far as repetitions are concerned, Ricard Roca, Operator Rimotion Replay, acknowledges that using Riedel's SimplyLive means having “a workflow that is familiar to operators accustomed to platforms like EVS.”

"The management of clips and playlists is especially agile. One of its advantages is the possibility of loading a playlist in advance while another is broadcast in the program, and even editing it in real time or preparing new sequences to link several playlists continuously. This flexibility is especially useful in dynamic sports productions, where speed in managing repetitions is key," he points out.

SimplyLive in Veiem 360Ten years after that beginning with a single camera, the trajectory of Veiem 360 shows that in the audiovisual world, as in sports, perseverance and passion can turn a simple idea into a solid project. If something has defined this production company during its first decade of life, it is precisely that: work, humility and the ambition to continue growing.
