Synamedia Go - Mileto

The platform Synamedia Go reinforces the OTT service of the Brazilian company Mileto Technology with new personalized experiences and recommendations driven by artificial intelligence processes.

The commitment of Brazil's main pay television operator to Synamedia Go represents the last of his recent strategic investments, including the acquisition of OiTV, a major supplier of direct-to-home television (DTH) in Brazil; a distribution agreement with SES, and the launch of a new customer service portal. Pedro Pedras, CEO of Mileto, is confident that the platform will allow it to “dynamically improve, differentiate and monetize” its OTT offering, making it “the de facto source for those viewers and companies looking for more content and features.”

Synamedia Go is defined as a OTT SaaS video platform open, flexible and modular based on a microservices architecture multitenant and one cloud native infrastructure advanced. The unique content aggregation modules enable personalized experiences with new scalable monetization avenues, including multi-brand capabilities for Internet service providers (ISP), all in a secure cloud environment. This capability was of great interest to Miletus, one of the Brazilian providers with the most content rights.

Beyond Synamedia Go, Miletus implements VideoGuard, Synamedia's conditional access system that will “guarantee” that its DTH service is received only by authorized users. Tzvi Gerstl, executive vice president of media technology at Synamedia, states that the company is “proud” to be a partner of Mileto: “We are motivated to help drive its rapid innovation that will undoubtedly stand out in a competitive market.”
