Radio Capris accompanies its start of DAB+ broadcasts with the AEQ Capitol IP console
The center of Koper (Slovenia) houses the new production studios of Radio Capris, equipped with console AEQ Capitol IP and prepared to combine broadcasts in both FM and DAB+.
Founded in 1993, Radio Capris has established itself as one of the reference stations in Slovenia thanks to programming that combines local information, entertainment and a careful musical selection. Currently, its coverage reaches much of the west of the country, including Primorska, Ljubljana, Kranj and Postojna, also offering one of the broadcasts with the highest audio quality among Slovenian commercial radio stations.
The Capitol IP12 stands as the core of their new flagship studio. The installation has been coordinated by the station's technical team in collaboration with MTD, local partner of AEQ in Slovenia, responding to the broadcaster's needs for a solution designed to offer “maximum reliability and audio quality in daily production.”
The AEQ Capitol IP provides a robust and intuitive work environment, combining the advantages of digital technology with integrated IP connectivity. Its architecture allows managing multiple analog, digital and audio sources. AoIP from a single control surface, facilitating agile operation in both live broadcasts and content production, in addition to offering the necessary flexibility to adapt to future expansions of the studio.
“With this new installation, Radio Capris reinforces its commitment to modern infrastructures prepared for the future, while AEQ continues to provide technological solutions that respond to the needs of radio stations in their digital transformation processes,” the manufacturer itself states.
