Orange launches TV Box with an Android launcher custom created by Zappware

Zappware Entertainment Group International provides the team Orange Belgium of a new launcher Android TV for your TV Box, offering a “coherent and branded” experience.

The new TV Box, which has been installed for new Orange customers since the end of June, comes preloaded with an extensive ecosystem OTT which includes Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, RTBF Auvio, VRT Max, VTM Go, Streamz, Play y RTL Play, combined with linear television in the Orange experience. The system arrives with a Zappware custom launcher, designed to offer seamless transition, quick switching between applications and instant content discovery.

The new decoder connects to the back office in the cloud SDS de Zappware, which adds one more device to the Orange Belgium television ecosystem managed through this platform. This addition translates into “continuity of service without interruptions” across the entire fleet of devices.

Philippe Toussaint, technology director of Orange Belgium, considers that the new TV Box represents an “important milestone” in the “modernization” of your television experience. In this context, he points out, Zappware “has proven to be a trusted technology provider for our television ecosystem, and its launcher expertise is a key part of the ultra-modern experience we offer our customers.”
