JVC GM-F, large format displays

The new GM-F series of large format displays for professional applications combines excellent HD image quality, a mechanical design with a SuperSlim frame and high reliability for 24-hour operation.

The new GM-F displays presented by JVC are ideal for multi-screen television production controls, for control booths in video surveillance networks or for digital signage applications, which have in common high requirements for robustness, reliability and high image quality. The GM-F series comes in 3 screen sizes, 42″, 47″ and 52″. They have a high brightness level of 700 Cd/m2) and an MTBF (mean time between failures) value of more than 50,000 hours.

The latest generation LCD panels of the GM-F series have a native Full HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, with an ultra-thin outer frame design for multi-screen assemblies up to 5x5 units, or to place them individually in a location where the discretion of the display is essential so as not to disrupt the elegance of the environment. The GM-F series incorporates multiple signal connection possibilities without the need for optional cards. The displays also incorporate an exclusive PIR sensor for presence detection, which can be used for digital signage or security applications, or simply to save electricity consumption. When the sensor detects a person, it can activate or deactivate specific actions such as a change in sound volume, brightness level, turning the equipment on/off or selecting signal inputs. Additionally, the sensor can be easily configured with JVC's TV Tools software solution for digital signage.

The new GM-F series enjoys electrical reliability that allows it to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is particularly suitable for security systems control rooms, an application in which JVC monitors enjoy an excellent reputation with thousands of monitor units installed in the most important control centers throughout Europe.

The presence sensor can be installed in various points on the display frame. This is an innovative idea from JVC, designed especially for use in digital signage systems and points of sale, which triggers pre-programmed functions to send messages to viewers when they pass in front of the display. The GM-F series also integrates maximum digital and analog connectivity, with remote control capacity via LAN. Mechanically, the chassis design is all-metal, can be placed vertically or horizontally without the need for additional cooling and is compatible with VESA anchors.
