Dalet and EVS, nominated for the IBC Awards

Their Numprod project for the Francophone Belgian Radio Television (RTBF) leads them to the nomination for one of the most prestigious awards in the industry.

Last year, Dalet Digital Media System and EVS Broadcast launched the so-called Numprod project on Belgian Francophone Radio Television (RTBF). It involved migrating all of its broadcast operations to a tapeless environment with integrated production, full content and metadata management, and both multi-channel and multi-platform playout. Now, this ambitious and complex project has led them to be nominated for the IBC Awards in the content management category. These awards will be presented on September 13 at the RAI Center in the Dutch city during the IBC convention.
The most innovative thing about the now nominated project is that it integrates all production areas and technologies into a single system with solutions as diverse as Avid ISIS Interplay, Keres, Orad, Euromedia and Dalet and EVS themselves. In this way, RTBF has a highly flexible and scalable tapeless workflow in both news and sports, centrally controlling from ingest to playout with full integration of EVS production servers, central storage, IPDirector production management software, and Dalet asset management technology.
