Starting November 22, the information giant will start new programming, renew tunes, logos and mastheads and inaugurate a new studio at its headquarters in Atlanta. CNN en Español will open a production center in Miami at the end of the year.

On November 22, CNN in Spanish will put new programming on the air, and will renew tunes, logos and mastheads. Coinciding with this relaunch, it will launch a new studio in Atlanta and a production center in Miami. The Atlanta studio will have two continuities, while the Miami center, which will be launched at the end of the year, will complement CNN's headquarters in Plantation (Florida), providing it with an editorial and technological infrastructure similar to what the network already has in Los Angeles, New York and Washington D.C.

Under the slogan “Live the news,” CNN will also debut a new logo with a marked Spanish accent. Among the new programming, spaces such as NotiWoman, intended for the modern woman; Documentaries, with captivating characters and extraordinary stories; Showbiz, the magic of celebrities and favorite stars; Europe Today, with the headlines and who are news in Europe; Clash of Opinions, which will have dynamic debates; CNN Money, with an intelligent look at markets, business trends and personal finances.

Cynthia Hudson, senior vice president and general manager of CNN en Español, commented that “we are confident that the changes we present to you will allow us to build on our past successes and position CNN en Español even better for a bright future.”

CNN en Español, which began broadcasting on March 17, 1997, was CNN's first independently produced 24-hour television network in a language other than English. The network currently has 25 million subscribers in Latin America and almost 5 million in the United States.
