Colombian businessman Julio Mario Santodomingo Pumarejo, owner of Caracol TV, died on October 7 at the age of 87 at his residence in New York.

Currently, the conglomerate is a shareholder in Caracol Televisión, Caracol TV Internacional, Novelas Caracol, El Espectador, Cine Colombia, Inversiones Cromos S.A., Biofilm S.A., Refocosta S.A., Almagran S.A. and Almacenar S.A. Among the most important businesses promoted by this businessman is also the merger with the South African company SAP Miller and its Bavaria brewery, one of the largest companies in the country.
