3D surround sound will be available on screens in Italy, Germany, and Spain. Spectators will achieve a unique immersive experience, both in the film screenings and in the operas, concerts or sporting events that are shown in them.

The Barcelona company Imm Sound, specialized in 3D immersive sound, will install its technology in the iSens movie theaters of the multinational film exhibitor UCI/Cinesa, belonging to the ODEON/UCI/CINESA group.

Imm Sound's 3D surround sound will offer a fully immersive experience to viewers who come to the UCI/Cinesa iSens cinemas. In Europe, the exhibition Group has rooms in Italy, Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Austria and Spain. In the case of Spain, Cinesa manages more than 520 screens, with more than 116,000 seats.

According to the president of Imm Sound, Vicente López, Cinesa's technological choice "will allow Imm Sound's 3D surround audio, the most spectacular sound currently offered on the market, to be enjoyed alongside a large image, which favors perfect immersion in the show." It is an audio “totally adapted to the digital era, which allows the maximum sound quality of the projections and adapts to the characteristics of any room.”

The iSens rooms, equipped with large format screens and the Imm Sound 3D sound system, constitute an advanced and innovative proposal. Spectators achieve a unique immersive experience, both in film screenings and in the operas, concerts or sporting events that are shown in them. Of the different configurations available, these rooms have adopted the 24-channel option, which immerses the viewer in a totally new experience.

Currently, several theaters of this international group are already operating with an Imm Sound sound system, such as the Cinesa Príncipe Pio cinemas, in Madrid, and Ciudad de Marineda, in La Coruña, apart from other projects that are in the study phase.
