Viaccess incorporates Ricardo Pirola

The France Telecom group company appoints Ricardo Pirola as new vice president of sales and marketing for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Ricardo Pirola will now be the new vice president of sales and marketing for Latin America and the Caribbean of Viaccess, a company of the France Telecom group.

After his time at the company specialized in conditional access, Conax, Pirola will lead a team of seven professionals from São Paulo who will manage sales and engineering for the entire Latin American market, including Mexico and the Caribbean.

In recent years, Viaccess has been diversifying its solutions for security and content protection in both conventional television and OTT and IPTV. Its popular Orca Interactive middleware is considered one of the most efficient platforms for media protection on any platform.
