Vigo hosts the Telcom 2012 Technical Conference

The conferences, thanks to the collaboration of TVG, Retegal and Hispasat, will be broadcast in streaming over the Internet.

More than 300 professionals from the telecommunications sector will meet on May 31, June 1 and 2 at the XXXIV General Assembly of the Federation of Telecommunications Installers, FENITEL, and a new edition of the Telcom 2012 Technical Conference, which will take place in Vigo, in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia.

The Galician Association of Telecommunications Installers, AGEINTE, will host the most important sectoral event of the year, in which installation companies, manufacturers, operators and representatives of the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and the Xunta de Galicia will take stock of activity and analyze the business opportunities of the sector around key issues for the sector, such as the upcoming implementation of the Digital Dividend by the central government or the role of the Common Infrastructures of Telecommunications and the Digital Home in the development of 'Smart City'.

The sectoral meeting will start on May 31, in the Xunta de Galicia Building, with the celebration of the General Assembly of FENITEL, which brings together more than 1,200 installation companies, through its 24 territorial associations.

The next day, installation and integration companies, operators, broadcasters, manufacturers, business and administration representatives will share knowledge and experiences in a new edition of the Telcom 2012 Technical Conference, which will begin on June 1, at 9:00 a.m., at the Novacaixagalicia Center, in Vigo. The Conference, thanks to the collaboration of TVG, Retegal and Hispasat, will be broadcast in streaming mode through Internet.

Representatives of Televés, Retegal, Hispasat, Abertis Telecom, ALcad, Fagor, ECOASIMELEC, Scheneider Electric, Ikusi and Matelec, sponsors and collaborators of the event, will be present at the conference.
