En cuanto a operaciones CDN, el nuevo Ericsson Media Delivery Network, se configura como una plataforma única para distribuir contenido gestionado y no gestionado sobre redes fijas y móviles.
En lo que a plataforma de compresión se refiere, convendrá no perder de vista la nueva AVP- 4000, pensada para múltiples aplicaciones, codecs, resolución y redes.
El codificador Ericsson SVP 5500, es el primero HEVC/H.265 para distribución de televisión nieal sobre redes móviles, destacando por la notable reducción de ancho de banda requerido.
Ericsson también llevará en Las Vegas demostraciones de streaming adaptativo basado en MPEG-DASH y Ultra High Definition TV (UHDTV).
