Panasonic and Dejero will offer a solution for portable ENG
Panasonic Toughbook laptops and Live+ Newsbook software enable connectivity with multiple networks to ensure live streaming with high quality and low latency.
As a result of the alliance between Panasonic y Dejero, both companies have developed an interesting system for ENG that uses Panasonic's Toughbook laptops and Dejero's +Newsbook live contribution software over cellular networks.
This solution allows editorial teams to quickly send their audio and video files (live or delayed) directly to the central editorial office using mobile networks, LAN or WiFi.
The Panasonic Toughbook 31, Toughbook 52 and Toughbook 53 together with the Dejero software configure a flexible link from any fixed LAN, 3G or 4G mobile and Wi-Fi network with adaptive coding.
This enables high-quality live video streaming from the HD-SDI camera signal, with HD-SDI output played by Dejero's Live+ Broadcast server, as well as file transfers using data connection and storage capabilities with delivery via Live+ Newsbook. This way, editorial teams can instantly send a live contribution, the rough of a news story or an edited piece.
