Smart Assist, intelligent and practical video assistance, at IBC 2013
What differentiates this equipment from other solutions for video assistance on set is its size and that all the electronics are already inside. This is more practical, there is no need to transport bulky equipment or connect extra accessories.
The more than 50,000 professionals from 160 countries who attend IBC this year will be able to see the products and news of more than 1,400 brands, including the Spanish brand Ovid, which will exhibit its video assistance solution: Smart Assist.
The company continues with its “tour” among the most important fairs in the industry, presenting its Ovide Smart Assist HD2 together with its Band Pro distributor.
Those who do not yet know the Ovide Smart Assist HD2 should know that it is specially designed for video assistants: hardware composed of a 22" touch screen, 11cm deep and 19kg in weight with the most advanced video assistance software: QTake HD, designed by In2Core.
What differentiates this equipment from others that work with the same software is mainly its size and that all the electronics are already inside: it is more practical, there is no need to transport bulky equipment or connect extra accessories such as monitors, recording cards, converters, monitors,...
Ovide has the equipment both for sale and for rent and has already participated in several productions, among which the second season of Red Bracelets, the second installment of The Amazing Spiderman, The Gunman with Sean Penn and Javier Bardem (still filming) and advertisements for brands such as Chanel, Mercedes, Toyota and Nintendo, among others.
