SmartboxTV arrives in Brazil with two applications for interactive television
The strategic commercial partnership with UUX allowed us to enter a market with high potential and great growth expectations.
The Chilean company SmartboxTv breaks into the Brazilian market with two products; TwitTV and ESPN, applications for interactive television that will enrich the user experience of thousands of users in that country.
Rafael López, CEO of SmartboxTV, has assured that "the importance of this market is indisputable given its size and importance, as it concentrates the main players in the area in Latin America and has very demanding consumers."
TwitTV is an application for IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) that synchronizes Twitter hashtags with the programming of live channels and trends through trending channels. This results in users being able to review in real time what is being discussed on the microblogging network through other devices (cell phones or tablets) and join the conversation.
On the other hand, ESPN and Vivo (Movistar in Brazil) requested the development of a product that allows users to access statistics, game tables and videos, among other content from the sports communications giant from its IPTV service.
