González Macho, re-elected president of the Academy
The founder of Alta Films and owner of the Renoir cinemas renews his position as head of the Film Academy supported by the actor Antonio Resines and the director and screenwriter Judith Colell.
The distributor, exhibitor and producer Enrique González Macho has been re-elected this weekend as president of the Film Academy during the General Assembly that was held at the institution's headquarters.
In what will be his second term at the head of the Academy, the founder of Alta Films and owner of the Renoir cinemas is supported by the actor Antonio Resines and the director and screenwriter Judith Colell, who will hold the positions of first and second vice presidents, respectively.
The vote count has closed with 290 votes for Enrique González Macho and 110 for Piluca Baquero. Blank, 22 votes and 1 null. The total vote count was 423.
