Teracue announces full interoperability with Eyevis IP-Metawall
Teracue IP video encoders and IPTV Gateways will now be compatible with Eyevis IP videowall and EPU-LCD systems with integrated stream processing.
Teracue Eyevis has announced the full interoperability of its professional streaming solutions for the eyevis eyeCON MetaWall 2.0 line of solutions.
All Teracue live streaming sources, such as the ENC-300 encoder for HDSDI, HDMI/DVI; DMM Gate way series for DVB/ASI-to-IP conversion including remultiplexing; The IPTV headend and MC-Screen encoder are now fully compatible with Eyecis Metawall solutions.
Multiple live streams and recorded playout signals can now be displayed directly on Eyevis IP-based EPU-LCD screens; either on individual LCD screens (currently with eight HD signals or 16 on SD) or on a large video screen (one image on multiple screens), when numerous LCDs are combined together as a Metawall. Each Eyevis EPU-LCD display with an integrated, fully internal eyeProcessing Unit (EPU), performs its own processing of IP streams and performs high-performance decoding.
Eyecon Metawall 2.0 enables the creation of large “unlimited” IP video-based video walls by grouping smart LCD displays while eliminating the need for control units, reducing DVI cabling and limited HDBaseT extensions.
Wolfgang Schmiegelt, CEO of Teracue Eyevis, said: “The real benefit of standard IP-based signal distribution is the fact that you can extend your IPTV video system to any location and in any video application on the network.
Teracue and Eyevis will present their IPTV systems and IP video systems as well as Eyecon Metawall 2.0 solutions at IBC 2014.
