'72', de Josh Cable

A jury made up of experts from the sector, after analyzing hundreds of short films that have participated in the #NoLimits contest organized by Sony, has decided that the winner of the contest will be the Australian Josh Cable for his short 72. The film elegantly contemplates a 72-year-old athlete reflecting on himself, his career and his attitude.

This contest aims to pay tribute to the creativity and spirit of content creators around the world, under the motto “without limits”, with a new PXW-FS5 as a prize for the winner. 648 participants from all over the world submitted their short films of a maximum of two minutes on YouTube, with the hashtag #NoLimits.

The top ten videos from each region were presented to local Sony certified independent experts, from whom a regional winner was nominated to participate in the global final.

In addition to 72, the other five regional winners were recognized by Sony for their talent. The finalists were: Phone Addiction by Benjamin Cotton (EU/Russia); It’s not just a box by Cristhian Mendoza (Latin America); Hong Kong Urban Tour by Alex Rodriguez (Southeast Asia); Mind Your Mind by Sebin Xavier (India); and Film maker by Diyab Basheer (Middle East and Africa).
