Next Friday, February 5, the Institute of the Digital Economy of ESIC (ICEMD) in collaboration with AMC Networks International Iberia, organizes the conference The audiovisual Revolution: Television and digital content. In this way and thanks to the extensive experience of prominent executives who lead the most important content companies in Spain, the challenges and opportunities that operators, suppliers, producers and brands have and will have in the future will be analyzed, as a result of the increase in conventional television consumption and the incorporation of new forms of consumption.

Eduardo Zulueta, President of AMC Networks International Iberia and Latin America; Manuel Balsera, VP Sales and Marketing of AMC Networks International Iberia; Silvio González, CEO of Atresmedia; Ignacio García-Legaz, Director of Television at Vodafone Spain; Ignacio Fernández-Vega, Director of Movistar TV; Mandi Ciriza, SVP Lifestyle Channels of AMC Networks International Iberia and Latin America; Ildefonso Tébar, Marketing Manager of Samsung Spain; Fernando Ojeda, General Director of Euskaltel; and Fernando Santiago, Technical Director of AIMC (Association for Media Research), will be the professionals who analyze the Panorama of the audiovisual sector, the Linear Television Model versus non-linear television, Consumption and trends: telcos and new operators as well as the Audiovisual Consumer of the 21st century.

Actualmente, el sector audiovisual está en completa eclosión y nuevos operadores de televisión como Wuaki y Netflix comienzan a incorporar a sus filas decenas de miles de consumidores: las series se han convertido en uno de los productos de consumo más extendidos, e incluso generan marcas y franquicias de un alto impacto social.

A esto se suma el hecho de que 1 de cada 4 hogares españoles ya tiene televisión de pago y, en los últimos 12 meses, se ha acelerado el crecimiento en abonados a las distintas plataformas. Mientras tanto, las televisiones generalistas, los operadores de telecomunicaciones y los proveedores de contenidos han decidido apostar de manera más contundente por la televisión online, con el objetivo de enganchar a millones de consumidores a las pantallas de televisión.

La jornada tendrá lugar en la sede de Pozuelo de ESIC Business & Marketing School, en horario de 9:30 a 14:30 horas.
