RTVE-Tarragona 2017 agreement signed

Spanish Radio and Television and the Mediterranean Games reinforce their commitment to the broadcast and promotion of the 17th edition of this multi-sports competition that is organized within the framework of the Olympic movement. RTVE and the Tarragona 2017 Foundation signed a collaboration agreement this Monday.

The president of RTVE, José Antonio Sánchez, has signed the agreement; the mayor of Tarragona, Josep Fèlix Ballesteros, in his capacity as president of the Tarragona 2017 Foundation; and Alejandro Blanco Bravo, vice president of the Foundation and president of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE).

José Antonio Sánchez has pointed out that "as a public institution, we appreciate this opportunity, like any event that is related to the Spain Brand. For RTVE it is a source of satisfaction to bring these Games to the Spanish people, and to be a spokesperson, once again, for minority sports."

For Josep Fèlix Ballesteros "it is a pride that the main sporting events are broadcast by RTVE, which guarantees stability, experience and professionalism in these events."
