Bridge VB440-V monitors IP traffic with dual Gigabit Ethernet and SDIoIP interfaces
It allows you to more easily monitor all content traffic over IP, resolve problems and offer the highest quality of service.
Bridge Technologies With its new VB440-V solution, it aims to respond to two of the main challenges faced by broadcasters, control centers and production companies today: monitoring content traffic at higher Ethernet speeds and ensuring compatibility with SDIoIP (SDI-over-IP).
This proposal, which we will be able to see already in operation at IBC 2016, allows for more agile monitoring of all content traffic over IP, solving problems and offering the highest quality of service.
Simen K. Frostad, president of Bridge Technologies, is convinced that the new VB440-V “is a safe investment, as it is a development that has been carried out from an already known product family, which has been implemented by major organizations around the world and which is compatible with larger scale initiatives such as AIMS and ASPEN.”
One of its great advantages is the possibility of working with dual 40 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and with SDIoIP (SDI-over-IP), analyzing thousands of streams simultaneously and in real time. Its nanosecond accuracy allows SDI analysis from 270 Mbps to 12 Gbps.
The VB440-V is also the first product to feature dual SMPTE 2022.7 redundant stream analysis as an extension of its support for SDIoIP, SMPTE 2022.6, RFC 4175 and AES67.
This tool is designed to monitor the performance of networks involving different signal formats and areas as diverse as IP multicast/unicast video, OTT/ABR streaming, unicast video on demand, Ethernet packets “micro bursts”, PCAP recording and other traffic protocols.
