The original comedy from Wraptastic Productions that will premiere next March 6 on Amazon has been edited, graded and finalized with the Blackmagic solution.

DaVinci Resolve Studio de Blackmagic Design It has been used to edit, grade and finalize the series Please Tell Me I’m Adopted!, an original comedy from Wraptastic Productions that will premiere next March 6 on Amazon.

Executive producer Chris Sobchack used the program to carry out the entire post-production process. Sobchack acknowledges that since it was a stand-alone project, there were restrictions on the time they could spend filming and the resulting recorded material.

"The shoot went quickly, and several of the features offered by DaVinci Resolve Studio were our saving grace when editing the images. The sharpening and blur adjustments brought many shots to life that otherwise would have been useless, and the stabilization tool was great," he said.

"There was a specific scene with three people sitting on a sofa. We divided it into thirds to work with each one individually, we zoomed in on the image, since we had filmed in 5K, and applied this function. The result was extraordinary, and no one would have guessed that it was the same shot," he adds.

The executive producer of Please Tell Me I’m Adopted! It also highlights the ease with which the material is imported, subsequently passing it from one module to another until the final result is obtained.
