TVE records 'If you were you', the first interactive transmedia series produced in Spain

El thriller que podrá disfrutarse en distintas plataformas y en el que el público puede cambiar la historia e interactuar con su protagonista supone un paso más en la apuesta por la innovación y la producción de contenidos digitales.

If it were you

Televisión Española ultima estos días el rodaje del primer capítulo de If it were you, the first interactive transmedia series that breaks the barrier between platforms. An innovative project that will allow user interaction with the characters, since each week the public will decide the course of the plot. María Pedraza heads the cast along with Óscar Casas, Jorge Motos, Adriá Collado and Ruth Díaz, among others.
The series is signed by Javier Olivares and the team of scriptwriters and transmedia of The Ministry of Time. It is directed by the well-known director Joaquín Llamas and the complex and innovative interactive strategy will be promoted by RTVE Digital. The thriller will premiere on Monday, September 11 in streaming on Playz and also on TVE.

Youth cast

If It Were You has a cast known to young audiences on social networks. María Pedraza (in the double role of Alba and Cris), protagonist of the series, is a fashion influencer and made her leap to the big screen in the film 'Amar'. Along with her, young actors like Óscar Casas, Lucía Díez or Jorge Motos, and newcomers on the small screen but with great theatrical careers like Nerea Elizalde. They will be accompanied by a prestigious adult cast including Adrià Collado, Ingrid Rubio, Juan Blanco and Ruth Díaz.

The series focuses on Alba, a 17-year-old girl who moves with her uncle Miguel to an urbanization in search of a new life. However, as soon as he arrives at school he realizes that it is not going to be so easy to adapt. The cause? Her resemblance to Cris, a girl who disappeared just half a year ago. Alba decides to investigate what happened to Cris. In that search for the truth, he will come across something he would never have suspected. And that the viewer must help him discover...
