Gestmusic trusts VSN for the 24-hour OT channel
The VSNOne TV solution allows Gestmusic to carry out uninterrupted broadcasts for the Sky España and Youtube platforms, automating the continuity of the recorded signal in the studios where the program is produced.
On the occasion of the recent premiere of the television program Operación Triunfo, the production company Gestmusic He needed to implement in a short space of time a solution that would allow him to launch the 24-hour channel of the program.
This new system required the signal to be broadcast in the studios of the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya through two platforms: on the one hand, the OTT of Sky and on the other, the platform Youtube, for which an IP streaming signal needed to be generated as an additional complexity of the project. In addition, the entire facility had to be delivered to start broadcasting on these channels in 48 hours, coinciding with the television premiere of the successful program.
To meet all the stipulated requirements, VSN has implemented its channel-in-a-box VSNOne TV solution, responsible for managing two playlists that would differentiate the content that is distributed through both platforms, as well as a graphic embedding engine for each of the channels.
Along with these, the platform also offers Gestmusic other advanced functionalities to have a solution as complete and adjusted to the specific needs of the program as possible. Among others, some advantages are cited such as having eight layers of graphics per list, having the possibility of automating auxiliary events, performing timeshift or receiving real-time feedback from viewers.
The production company Gestmusic has managed to triple the audience of OT through these channels, reaching record figures such as the three million views in one week that were registered on November 17 or the 20 million total views in the month of November until this same date, according to data provided by the television channel RTVE.
Likewise, the management of these channels has allowed Gestmusic to promote the use of social networks to attract younger audiences and retain new audiences, while generating record levels of engagement and a powerful community of loyal followers of the program. A revolution of conventional television formats, which has brought the production company numerous good reviews to date.
