ChyronHego will present its innovations for live production, sports data and analysis at IBC
ChyronHego will premiere the new version of its Camio 4.5 news solution at IBC; Metacast 2.6, for weather presentations; and Virtual Placement, intended to incorporate virtual graphics in any live broadcast, among other proposals.
On the eve of the celebration in Amsterdam of IBC 2018, Marco López, CEO of ChyronHego, points out that “with our portfolio of software solutions, such as Camio Universe “For news production, our clients can further increase engagement with their brands while managing the challenges of making content available to both linear and digital consumption platforms, enabling new levels of flexibility and scalability that are simply not possible with hardware-based workflows.”
“In addition, with the adoption of key industry standards, such as SMPTE-2110, many of our clients are on the path to migrating their facilities to IT operations,” he adds.

ChyronHego will exhibit at its booth at IBC Metacast 2.6, the graphic solution for weather presentations, fully integrated with Camio Universe and with new features that include animations for all layers and simplified adjustments. The user will be able to edit in Celsius or Fahrenheit when the values are in Kelvin; Additionally, Metacast includes new playback tools for organizing Play lists and launching charts.
Sports
At IBC we can also check the potential of Virtual Placement, ChyronHego's most sophisticated solution for incorporating virtual graphics into any live broadcast including 4K recording and playback; integration of real-time data with Tracab and ZXY solutions and integration of real-time data from sources from other suppliers. Virtual Placement includes improvements to scene tracking technology for image enhancement.
will also be presented Paint 7.4, sports solution that includes support for 4K and new capability for IP, HTTP H.264 live streaming recording. In addition to the integration with EVS slow motion playback, there is a new one with the Grass Valley LiveTouch playback system
This new version of Paint includes a new possibility of automatic tracking that eliminates this option, the fastest on the market, and tools to publish content directly to social networks.

ChyronHego will present its augmented reality and virtual studio solutions in Amsterdam, including Neon and Plutonium virtual studio and robotics. Version 5 of Plutonium, is the most powerful version of virtual studio and version 4 of Neon, is a virtual set creation solution without tracking.
A new HTML5-based control panel for Neon and Plutonium will also be introduced using the Live Assist dashboard platform and new integrations with engines such as Epic Games' Unreal Engine. These solutions are integrated with Camio Universe, for News Production
Another help for live production is the new version of the Live Assist Panels user interface and control panel creation tool. This platform is based on the latest multi-user web technology to enable the creation of interfaces to control any ChyronHego product. It supports a wide range of protocols used by ChyronHego and other leading companies in the industry. Live Assist Panels now includes a new macro manager, which enables the client to create sophisticated actions, without the need for advanced programming (scripting).
Click Effects Prime
Version 3.2 of Click Effects Prime, the turnkey authoring solution for A/V presentations, in stadiums and sports facilities, using the Tracab optical tracking solution. Click Effects Prime includes support for more playout channels in an SDI workflow and a new HDR clip player. Additionally, PRIME authoring using Prime Designer, increased HD-SDI inputs in an HD-SDI workflow, HD-SDI inputs added to a DVI workflow, and HDR output for 4K productions will be featured.
Finally, note that ChyronHego will present LyricX 3.4, a new version of the LyricX graphics creation and playback solution, which is being used by more installations in the world than any other solution; Lyric X is based on a 64-bit architecture, to offer unmatched creative freedom, interoperability and advanced 3D object rendering. LyricX 3.4 now includes support for DNxHD and GTC, with a new GTC clips player and tools such as the GTC clip converter and the new PRIME folder watcher.
Also presented will be Prime Graphics 3.1, the new version of ChyronHego's universal graphics platform, with its powerful rendering engine. Prime Graphics 3.1 can be used for five applications, with an easy-to-use 4K and IP graphics design and platform: a character generator, a powerful clips player, a Videowall solution, a touch-sensitive platform, and a branding solution.
Prime 3.1, supports SMPTE ST2110 and includes 16 bit color HDR, which allows having a 10 bit HDR output, in HLG or S-Log3 format at the customer's choice. Other new possibilities are: Intellicommander, the new keyboard for Lyric, a new “fast recall”, an HDR canvas and a new scene-based workflow concept.
